Originally display windows for San Francisco department store I. Magnin,

for the past 30 years, the windows at 34 Trinity have been used as a gallery space or a bookstore .

34 Trinity Arts & News was inherited from the rare and antiquarian bookstore G.F. Wilkinson Books (formerly the Albatross Bookstore).

It was founded to continue the legacy of a used bookstore operating out of the display windows of 34 Trinity Place and in the Financial District.
